RETURNS POLICY

HomeRETURNS POLICY

Updated on 30 October 2026. This page distinguishes returning goods because you have changed your mind from making a claim about faulty goods. The seller is Sagneta UAB, company registration number 300041473, Raudondvario pl. 164, LT-47173 Kaunas, Lithuania. Contact: sales@sgenergy.lt, +370 600 28676.

1. Bought online as a consumer and changed your mind?

A consumer, meaning an individual buying for purposes unrelated to their business or profession, can generally withdraw from a distance sales contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. The period runs from receipt of the goods under the applicable statutory rules; if goods from one order are delivered separately, it runs from receipt of the last item. This right does not automatically apply to business purchases.

  1. Before the deadline expires, send a clear notice of withdrawal to sales@sgenergy.lt. Identify your order and the goods you are returning. You may use the form below, but you do not have to.
  2. Send or hand over the goods no later than 14 days after giving notice of withdrawal. Contact us to arrange receipt and safe transport, particularly for a large battery. These arrangements do not affect your right to give notice within the deadline.
  3. Include the available accessories and documents, and pack the goods safely. Original packaging helps protect the goods, but opening it does not in itself remove your right to withdraw.

You may inspect the goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary. Installation, connection or use is not an automatic reason to reject every request: the individual circumstances and applicable law are considered.

2. Return costs and refunds

When withdrawing from the purchase of non-faulty goods, the buyer bears direct return costs only if properly informed of this obligation before purchase and unless otherwise agreed. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the return transport cost or a reasonable estimate must be provided before the contract is concluded. If the required information was not provided, these costs are not passed on to the consumer.

On withdrawal, we refund payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery we offered, no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option chosen by the buyer are not refunded. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first, unless we offered to collect the goods ourselves. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without the consumer incurring any fees as a result.

3. When does the right of withdrawal not apply?

Only statutory exceptions apply, for example goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Merely ordering a standard inverter, battery or accessory from a supplier specifically for you does not make it a custom-made product. Electrical equipment or batteries are not excluded from returns simply because of their product category.

4. Faulty goods and warranty

Consumers benefit from the seller’s statutory liability for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery, subject to the conditions prescribed by law. Any additional manufacturer’s commercial warranty applies according to the documentation for the specific model and does not restrict these rights.

Report a fault to sales@sgenergy.lt, giving your order, model, serial number if available, and the symptoms. Include photographs or an error code if safe to do so. Proof of purchase may include suitable evidence other than a paper receipt. In the first instance, consumers may request repair or replacement, unless the remedy is impossible or disproportionate. In the circumstances provided by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract may be requested.

Where the seller is responsible for a defect, we do not pass the necessary return and other costs on to the consumer. Normal wear and damage caused by misuse are assessed separately from manufacturing defects or lack of conformity. There is no blanket exclusion of batteries, cables or connectors from warranty solely because of their product category. Battery capacity warranty limits and conditions of use depend on the particular manufacturer’s documentation.

Safety: do not connect a damaged, swollen, overheated or otherwise unsafe battery, and do not send it as an ordinary parcel. Contact us to arrange appropriate transport. Do not dismantle electrical equipment yourself.
